Pramana Design Studio was given a challenge to spruce up the rooms of the resorts, without putting a hole in the client’s pockets. We accepted the challenge, refurbishing and sprucing up interiors will breathe new life into the space without undertaking a complete overhaul.
Paint and Wall Treatments: A fresh coat of paint can instantly transform a room. Consider experimenting with different colors and patterns of the hotel chain. Wallpaper, and wall decals also added texture and visual interest.
Furniture Reimagining: Reupholstering, and adding slipcovers to furniture pieces gave them a fresh look. Rearranging furniture layout also created a new dynamic within a space.
Accessorize: Introduced new accessories such as throw pillows, rugs, curtains, and artwork that complemented the existing brand’s color scheme and style. We added pops of color or texture.
Lighting Updates: Updated light fixtures, and added new lamps. That changed the ambiance of the room. LED bulbs for energy efficiency and varied lighting effects were also used.
Statement Pieces: Introduced a statement piece such as an eye-catching art installation, a unique piece of furniture, and a bold rug that served as a focal point, changing the entire look and feel of the room.
Indoor Plants: Adding greenery can freshen up interiors. Plants not only add aesthetic value but also contribute to better air quality and a sense of tranquility.
Upcycling and DIY: Getting creative by upcycling old furniture, and accessories was the basic fundamental design aspect of the project, adding a personal touch to the space.
Texture and Layers: Introduced different textures through textiles like throws, cushions, and rugs. Layering textures added a depth and visual interest to the room.
