With Cool and Refreshing colors, the theme was to keep minimal things with modern designing. Design palette typically involves using the color citron as a dominant, and accent color in the decor. Citron is a bright and vibrant yellow-green color, and it can add a fresh and lively feel to a space.
Walls: Accent wall with citron color pattern instantly added a burst of color and energy to the space.
Furniture: Citron-colored furniture was used as statement pieces in the design. This could include sofas, chairs, or even a bold citron-colored cabinet.
Accessories: Incorporated citron through accessories like throw pillows, rugs, curtains, and artwork. These were used to add pops of color and tie the design together.
Contrasting Colors: Paired citron with complementary colors to create a balanced look. For example, citron works well with shades of gray, navy blue, or even a crisp white.
Natural Elements: Combined citron with natural materials like wood or stone to create a harmonious and balanced look. This added warmth and texture to the space.
Plants: Green plants can complement a citron palette beautifully. They not only add a natural element but also enhance the vibrancy of the citron color.
Lighting: Used lighting fixtures with warm tones to enhance the citron color scheme. Pendant lights, floor lamps, or table lamps with brass or gold finishes worked well.
Artwork and Decor: Artwork or decor items that incorporate citron or similar shades. This served as a focal point and tied the entire design together.
Texture Variety: Incorporated different textures to add depth and interest to the space.
Balance with Neutrals: While citron is a vibrant color, it’s important to balance it with neutrals to prevent the space from feeling overwhelming. Used shades like gray, beige, or white as a backdrop.
The key to a successful interior design palette is balance. In this design we have experimented with different elements and considered how they work together to create a cohesive and harmonious look.
