The project was based in Shankar Vihar, New Delhi for upgradation and mordernisation of government offices for Ministry of Defence, IHQ. The Design was an amalgamation of all different branches and their requirements for filing in one building. PTo get a good clarity of the spatial planning, zoning was done on the basis of functionality of spaces, the zones are public dealing, non-public dealing, services and circulation space. A design with conscience dressing up with vibrant splashes of color. The result is an unusual combination of clean design and intricate craftsmanship, perfect for infusing the space with a welcoming vibe. Furnitures are judiciously designed just to fit the maximum amount of desirable spaces available in the facility. Table top is at just the perfect height for working with comfort, overhead cabinets easily accessible by bare hands and full height cabinet is designed to fit the maximum possible records. Pramana Design Studio worked with Ar. Aaradhya Singhal, Aaradhya Singhal Design Studio, New Delhi to provide different functional design for different areas working in the IHQ.

This project involves the conceptualization and execution of a vibrant, modern interior design for a commercial government office, aimed at transforming a traditionally formal workspace into an energetic, collaborative, and forward-thinking environment. The design emphasizes bold color usage, contemporary furnishings, and flexible layouts to support productivity, transparency, and civic engagement.

The workspace includes public-facing areas (reception, waiting zones, consultation booths), private offices, open-plan staff workstations, meeting rooms, and multifunctional common spaces. A vibrant color palette—featuring shades of coral, teal, mustard, and electric blue—will be strategically applied to energize the space, delineate zones, and reflect the dynamic nature of modern governance.
